Dr Kayla Andrew is an advanced medical aesthetics practitioner with a private practice in Salt Rock - Ballito. 

 

Her medical aesthetic practice - Derma Lab - offers non-surgical aesthetic procedures and advanced skincare treatments. Our aim is to rejuvenate and preserve facial features in a holistic way to ensure natural results over the long term. Derma Lab is owned and founded by Dr Kayla Andrew who is a medical doctor who focuses exclusively on aesthetic and antiaging interventions.

​

Dr Kayla qualified with her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery cum laude from the University of Pretoria.  Her post graduate years saw a move to KZN where she worked in various district hospital and clinics for 3 years. After completing a course in aesthetic dermatology during her com-serve year she found the field of medicine she absolutely loves and has pursued with a keen interest since then. She spent 3 years in an aesthetic practice in Umhlanga before opening her own private practice in Salt Rock – Ballito.

She has specialised in this field and holds an Advanced Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine, American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine as well as numerous trainings and courses over the years. She is a member of the Aesthetic and Antiaging Society of South Africa and is a certified Aptos Threads Trainer.

Aesthetic medicine has been a natural path for her creative spirit as it is a field where true skill respects the balance between medicine, science and art. Dr Kayla has an artistic eye and believes in personalised treatments that respect her patients natural beauty. She is passionate about this dynamic field of medicine and prides herself in forming meaningful connections with her patients and educating on aesthetic medicine as a whole.
